You need a plan... you wont buy a pennystock that constantly falls like HOLO. Even after a reverse split it is falling.

You see others... spiking every 3 months and doubling, tripling their price. There is no guarantee for that, and most shorted stocks remain shorted with the idea that the short seller can keep the money when the stock is delisted.

You wont go for obscure stocks from Canada or OTC... you look for US listed stocks. Becuase on US stocks you can get all the information... insider buys and sells, short percentage, earning statements and due publications ... all you dont have on sub penny OTC, on Hongkong or India stocks...

In case someone with huge buying power is after it then he could potentially cause a short squeeze, after the GME thing three years ago they arent stupid enough to short without stop loss again. With GME some brokerages were forced to liquidate clients position to avoid damanger to themselves, and that was because of no SL
