Approvals from DGCA, AAI and whoever is running the current airport like GMR or GVK are required even to start the DPR phase and land acquisition.

BUT this new large airport is required in this region as we can't expand the gannavaram airport to either increase the number of runways or to build capacities to add cargo handling and associated industrial companies.
