30(M) here, i am just 5’5” and ginger(brownish hair, tons of freckles on my face and other parts of body)
I was made fun of probably 1000s of times when i was in school and even by my relatives. Others use to sympathise me and some even use to give stupid reasons for my freckles like i ate ants or stole some pigeon’s food in my previous life.

I had literally no confidence, kids around me gave me multiple names to obviously make fun of me.

Thanks to my parents i survived school.

When i moved to a different city for college i realised that looks may matter initially and that too to a very less population because everyone felt inferior about something.
However acceptance took me a while and i start talking to girls and eventually made a gf too.
Moreover to my surprise multiple girls even complimented me for my freckles, hell one even asked me on a date just because she found my freckles cute. Can you believe it ? The reason i use to look down on myself for years is the reason girls are now approaching me for.

I am now happily married to a girl who loves me for my nature and that’s what really matters bro.

Accept yourself the way you are, definitely work on your physique and health and trust me once you accept yourself you will never look down on yourself
