Assuming this data is correct (always be skeptical of anything Common Dreams is posting) they are using global figures which doesn't make sense since the countries where starvation is still a problem are not the ones producing billionaires at a high rate. And conversely the countries where billionaire wealth increased are more likely to have obesity problems rather than hunger problems.

Common Dreams regularly parrots propaganda for oppressive regimes so they can't admit starvation in places like Yemen is due to a war Iran is waging through one of their proxies. They'd rather blame it on the stock market going up in a completely different country.

I gather President Musk just doubled down the immigration issue too.

Since both religious and caste discrimination is built in the Constitution itself, it is very prevalent.

You could argue that minority rights and reservations are necessary and good things.

But that they are discriminations is undeniable.

Any policy which leads to different treatment of individuals, is automatically discriminatory.
Hence special rights to minorites and reservations to specific castes are discriminatory.

That apart, of course there is socio-cultural discriminations and religious discriminations.

A non-Muslim has to convert to Islam to marry a Muslim, but not vice versa is a religious discrimination.

Then when families shun marriages crossing castes is a type of discrimination.

Those are the major ones.
Of course there could multiple minor ones.

But those could be as much because of unpleasant individuals.

A society can only focus on systemic, doctrinal and statistically large cases.

In any case, when the govt practices caste and religious discrimination, of course the nation will also.

This is universal behaviour. Even as Indians when we move out of the country, each of our “kind” as you put it, hangs out with their own unless there are only few or none of the kind. Example in Ontario there’s a church that’s exclusively Mallu. In Amsterdam there is a Maratha Mandal (actually 3 as some of them had conflicts lol) and in both these cases each kind obsessively hangs out with their own.

It is not an argument or conjecture , the government redirects more money to Bihar than it collects from Bihar as per recorded tax devolution scheme in central government. You can read up on if you google 'tax devolution to states'.
