That's an indication that you feel left out most of the time and as an extrovert you would try to compulsively add or join into the conversation with the other person thereby you tend to talk about personal information.

The best way to counter this is by you can start indulging in more short conversation and start drawing boundaries within your conversation with the person on the basis of how long you know them. Drawing boundaries mean like I am not going to bring up this or that topic at all cost with this person. Second instead of trying to indulge in the conversation, try and tame that compulsive need to add on to the conversation and start listening more, and at the end just give your views. This will make people like and respect you more as they will feel heard out. And try and engage with short Convo with people most of the time like I talk to my parents, watchmen, local shopkeepers, colleagues, friends etc. At the end of the day it brightens your as well as their day.
