Good. Maharashtra railway connectivity has to be improved on a rapid scale. Many projects are pending for literally infinite number of years.
A lot of work has happened over the past years, electrification and couple of important new lines are inaugurated. Wish the railway connectivity in the state reaches to the level of West Bengal.

Many important projects need to be sped up - Chalisgaon to Sambhajinagar
Sambhajinagar to Solapur
Wardha Nanded (already WIP)
Ahilyanagar to Parali via Beed (WIP)
Kolhapur to Konkan railway
Many places in Vidarbha and Khandesh region have good presence of railway thanks to the Mumbai Howrah line and the Delhi Chennai line.
But major lacking is Marathwada. And the third ghat project from Nagar to Kalyan. These developments will benefit not just Maharashtrians but entire country as well by shortening the distance and travel time between important destinations of our country and also by providing alternate routes.
