It majorly because it's a city with young people with high salaries who are willing to pay anything. They have this mentality of " I can buy anything without looking at the price tag" This ideology makes them pay absurd prices for cheaper goods. If people become sensible and try to bargain, prices will come down a bit.

I wish they get more footfall going forward and sustain. This place is close to my heart with a lot of memories.
