I noticed a lot of companies want u to know seo and other things, especially for in-house. With remote positions you are competing against the whole u s a, if not the world. I rarely apply to remote anymore, unless it's a perfect match, and the ones that do reply, they usually ask for a test, once u pass the test, then u gotta do 3 more interviews.

Also the demand for seo is down, the investment is not there as before, plus if ur not ranked number 1 or 2 u won't get much traffic from anyone.
