I recently visited Goa and was surprised to see that most if not all businesses are currently being run by non-goans. Especially the touristy bits. I am born and brought up in Goa hence I know this was not the case early. Traditional goans are known for their sushegat attitude and friendly behavior.

The way the businesses are being run now in Goa are your typical cutthroat behaviors and wanting to always pull one over you are what we experienced when we traveled in other parts of India.

The disappointment online these days being shown by a lot of tourists is because they are not expericing the goan hospitality and vibe anymore.
I felt the same thing and was pretty disappointed.
