1. Why is all roads of Mumbai being dug up at the same time and why is concrete being used. Concrete roads are already falling apart so much for durability. There is something fishy about this kind of development.

    I was talking to the guy driving my rickshaw today at Bandra and he said they’ve dug up roads to put in water pipes with bigger diameter. He explained that since every inch of Mumbai is being reconstructed and redeveloped the builders need a lot more water all the time. The old pipes were too small to supply enough water to all the ongoing construction.
