A different POV- I'm a NRI residing in Canada for more than 5 years. People don't realize us Indians have a body odor problem, it is something which should be ingrained since childhood. Agreed, the way this person was confronted shouldn't be the way to go about it but at the same time emphasizing the use of deodorants is crucial and practicing basic hygiene at home while cooking like switching on the exhaust and keeping clothes separately which are worn during cooking. People don't realize us eating onion and garlic, reek out of the body via sweat and bad breath. Not to mention the fragrant spices. Hoping people don't consider me as white washed but this is a rampant problem as even when travelling public transport, the smell is sometimes intolerable and happens only with us desis not other ethnicity. Again not defending the person taking the video but this sub in particular is notorious for seeing only one side and jumping on the bandwagon and rage about it.
