This post is a cry for help.
It would seem rather difficult at this stage to pivot from the path he's been on all these years into a gig that offers complete WFH/remote projects.
The only gig that offers those is IT and even they're being called into the office. Additionally, given he has no technical skillsets, it might take a while to develop those before being able to find something relevant.
Also, has he considered financial freedom? Assuming he's well paid atm, he's definitely at the top or close to it, considering his peers. Any switch/pivot will most definitely mean a downgrade (to what extent - idk). He will need to make his peace with that.
Most banks have a wide variety of roles, including project management. Sometimes, they're keen on internal hires so this is where he might find some luck (along with the general upskilling/certifications that others have already suggested). His best bet would be finding something internally, and tapping people (via LinkedIn or in his own company) who work in profiles he's keen on exploring.
A totally random suggestion - maybe he could consider joining a start up that he truly believes in/might motivate him? Or perhaps start something of his own?
Good luck! -
How can a small startup compete against a well-established industry leader?
Complacency leading to lack of innovation, aversion to change. -

How can a small startup compete against a well-established industry leader?
Be 10x better than the industry leader at 1 thing. It is actually easier to break into a crowded space bc the customer demand is already there and if you can do 1 thing significantly better than your competitors then you will start winning market share. Niche the fuck down. -
Are you a NEET that desperately wants a change? Try the job corps!
Not currently a neet but I don't feel this is the right route for all.
Edit: To elaborate Being thrust into a social situation where you're constantly surrounded by people and interaction is a fucking painful experience -
Marvel Rivals is Banning Players on Mac OS
I think (i don’t play their games), they would like to use kernel driver for anti cheat/drm for all their games. If it’s true, it’s a bad sign as I don’t trust such companies, because their “protection” pose your computer security at high risk -
Joe Biden says alleged New Orleans attacker supported ISIS in videos
How come I keep reading reports of the flag being inside the vehicle, when there are pictures of it tied up on the back of the truck and other pictures of it attached upside down...
I know it's still somewhat early but that seems a weird fact to have changed. -

Elon Musk, Vivek Ramaswamy call remote work a ‘Covid-era privilege.’ Economists say it’s here to stay
This comes from two privileged, entitled douchebags who have never worked a day in their lives. Tech bros need to be knocked down from their pedestals. -

“Autism is good because it makes you unique”
I honestly don't care much about Autism, I get more bothered about how other people react to it.
Im on the Moderate support needs side, so going outside is hard. I have public meltdowns where I crawl under a table and sob in the fetal position. obviously working isn't an option for me. Im legit fine with my life though, I love being indoors and doing my hobbies, I don't really feel embarrassed by anything, even if i do cause a public scene or say something cringe i genuinely don't care.
what bothers me is people acting like i'm bearing some type of ancient curse, that my life *must* be horrific and dreadful all the time. or acting like the must be some positive to "balance out the negatives" like saying i must have some sort of special ability or "superpower". like, stop putting expectations on me im just driving this thing -
Losing myself slowly (birthday)
Happy Birthday OP !
I completely understand how you might feel right now. In 2023, I was 23, and I used to celebrate my birthday every year with a party since my teenage years. However, due to financial constraints, I had to stop this tradition. It was heartbreaking to realize that people had changed, and no one even bothered to call or wish me. Over time, I learned to accept this reality and understood that external validation, like birthday wishes, might only provide temporary happiness.
To cope with these feelings, I lowered my expectations to zero and stopped relying on others for happiness. Trust me, when you have no one to please or no one setting boundaries for you, it's a unique privilege. Embrace this solitude as an opportunity to focus solely on yourself. You'll soon discover that being alone isn't about social status but rather a chance for personal growth. True happiness comes from within, and external factors cannot dictate your emotional state -
