Top 2 teams have qualified for WTC and we didn’t so what’s surprising in that. We qualified twice and missed out once. I think it’s fair considering the team is transitioning and with a lot of youngsters. We should have more realistic expectations. a decade ago, i walked around 8 kms to save 9 Rs in Bangalore.

TBH as a hiring manager, this is TMI. I don't need to know (or want to know) your personal motivations & get involved with your life to make a hiring decision.

When you approach hiring managers keep it simple. Tell them something along the lines of...

"I am a final year BCA student who wants to get some real world work experience, I am looking for a paid internship or part time employment. I have completed the following classes ... (list coursework that has immediate relevance to company, e.g. Python programming, Data Analysis..). Do you have any openings?".

Have your resume handy when you meet them. Make sure your linkedin profile is updated. Scrub all your social media accounts that are googleable under your name to remove any inappropriate content.

Things I’d like to see
1. Long term shows - 3 days a week instead of 7
2. Short term shows - 2 days a week to compensate for the void that happens if 1 happens
3. Seasonal format - weekends / 1 day a week (24-40 episodes per season)
4. Reality shows without poverty p0rn
5. More conversation based shows (Jeena Isika Naam Hai - movers and shakers) In seasonal format
6. Mature audience shows post 10 pm with no re-runs during day time (OTT wil help in this)
7. Minimum 10-12 shows needed per channel
8. Mythological shows need to be controlled by not showing nonsense (like Shrimad Ramayan currently going so off track that Valmiki himself is surprised)
9. Kids shows like shakalaka boom boom / Sonpari etc to be encouraged / revived
