In February 2014, Mt. Gox (the biggest Crypto exchange at that time) suspended trading, closed its website and exchange service, and filed for bankruptcy protection from creditors - Always remember: Not your keys, not your coins!
Aftermath:
Mt. Gox was handling over 70% of all bitcoin transactions worldwide by early 2014, when it abruptly ceased operations amid revelations of its involvement in the loss/theft of 850,000 BTC.
Although 200,000 bitcoins out of the 850,000 BTC have since been "found", the reasons for the disappearance—theft, fraud, mismanagement, or a combination of these—were initially unclear.
New evidence presented in April 2015 by Tokyo security company WizSec led them to conclude that "most or all of the missing bitcoins were stolen straight out of the Mt. Gox hot cryptocurrency wallet over time, beginning in late 2011 -
Guesswork: How low can NIFTY dip till it goes UP again?
I have seen the covid crash and didn't invest a single penny. I started investing at 18600 on Nov 21 SIP + lumpsum at the time it was the peak. Still happy with the returns, XIRR-20%. No one can predict the bottom.

Congress Promises Rs 8,500 To Unemployed People If Voted To Power In DelhiCongress on Sunday promised to give Rs 8,500 to educated unemployed youths in Delhi for one year if it comes to power in Delhi.
People know that the beneficiaries will get paid from the government treasury. They also know that this is nothing but stealing taxpayers money because they don't believe in the politician's hogwash.
People simply don't care. Free cash - gimme; free electricity - gimme; Free ration - gimme; free bus fare - gimme.
People vote for those who enable and legitimize their theft. Meanwhile, hardworking taxpayers end up footing the bill.
This is a straightforward loot. The Supreme Court and Election Commission of India should put a stop on all this free cash distribution. -

Bro placement sucks. Please try to go to a place that can get you places eventually. The 3/4 years you spend there will feel worthless if by the end of it you cannot even get a job -

Hard part if you’re in the US is getting setup to take insurance. That in itself is a startup idea right there. Create a SaaS that manages the relationships between the faculty and insurance payers -

Who is better test batsmen between sachin tendulkar and Jaques Kallis?
Tendulkar because he had similar stats to Kallis after 175 odd tests and only fell off in the last two years. Also because he was decent to elite in every country he played in. Kallis was pretty mediocre in England for a batsman of his calibre. I rate Tendulkar as the greatest Indian test batsman by far and a top 5 batsman ever because he had no particular weakness in his technique, could change approach whenever he needed to, and scored heavily once he crossed 20 and got his eye in. I remember a stat from the 2003/04 tour to Australia. Tendulkar had an average of 56.6 and an average of 89+ whenever he crossed 20. That definitely reduced later in his career but it was a remarkable feat for a batsman in his 15th year in test cricket. -
