My two thoughts about PPF in general, it is a good option, but I prefer not to have it on my bike.

A decent PPF will cost you around 10-15k at least, and you're still going to have parts of your bike exposed (not covered by the PFF). In my opinion, I think ceramic/graphene is good enough for you to keep your bike shiny for a couple of years with regular maintenance. And you can get it repainted afterwards if you want to.

I have nothing done on my bike, it has been 3 years, and it still looks okay. Not new by any means, but looks good still.

I will have it repainted after maybe a year or so. I didn't choose to not have PPF because it would have saved me any money, but I believe it'll still be cheaper overall, and if the paint job is done correctly, it'll look better than a bike of similar age with PPF.

I am planning to get it buffed and polished soon, maybe that'll delay the repaint process for a while longer.

Closing thoughts, a bike is more than what it looks like. Taking care of the bike from the inside is a lot more important, I spend most of the money on proper service and taking good care of the bike. The looks are important, but secondary to me.

I would suggest a good riding gear before PPF if you have to choose between these two options. The bike can be repainted and repaired, you won't be able to repair or repaint your body if, god forbid, something happens.
