1. Yeah illegal (be it anyone from any region) is a problem . Some states of NE has undergone demographic change due to the huge influx , while other are more or less not affected (yet)

2. When talking about NE as a whole , picture it like India in itself with so many different religion, culture ,tribes. For eg . Mizos prominent religion is Christianity , while assam has hinduism and islam( there's a lot number of indigenous people too ).
