Almost the entire city has electrical cables underground now and the electrical poles are also removed..

There are regular junction boxes as well you'll see on the footpath which give access to these cables. Even the electric cables for street lights are underground now.

Not sure what the situation with having internet cables underground is though as I remember the plan was to have all cables underground.

I have in person seen a case of a elderly couple at Borivali station if I remember correctly crying outside the train coach because the ones without ticket that were in the train locked the door from inside and were not opening the door even when they were showing the ticket they had printed out I still clearly remember the elderly aunty crying out loud saying that they have sold everything here to go back to their native place and have no where to go now
