Off topic, but in Alibaug, there's a really offbeat and cozy cafe and stay called Suju's Artcafe. Please visit it. The food and vibes are immaculate. You'll feel like you're in a hilly European summer place.

Will recommend the thaali peeth, sandwiches and mango rice if it's available. I doubt the season will be appropriate for the mango dish but they have their own plantations and mangoes just might be in!
