When relatives visit,they should be stopped from asking her if she remembers them.You and your family should also stop asking if she remembers you and state who you are when you see her.

Even though your grandma has dementia and is forgetful and may have even changed her personality,she is still capable of feeling love.Never forget that.

Try going through relatives if they know someone eho is experienced who will be able to assist her and who is trustworthy.It is terrible disease and it is also hard on caregivers.
