I remember I was sitting in a compartment with complete set of Northeners while the immediate next was of Native North Easterners.

I did witness one guy racially slurring the North Easterners by calling one boy & asking why his eyes don't open wider & calling him "Chinese" , "Chinki".

Well the crowd sitting with me assumed me to be North Indian but I asked him point blank as to why he was using such slurs & it's pretty much demeaning & especially the one who started was a Uniformed Person so I asked him Point Blank, would he like this incident to be informed to his superiors through railway dept as I can officially make complaint & how would it look on his performance review.

He had a snarky reply as to how I am concerned with such stereotype, I replied although I don't look like a North Easterner but I am born in Assam & consider myself as North Easterner & above all Indian & as far as I know No Institution including the force which he belongs to is taught to stereotype like that . That reply actually took many aback in my compartment who were joining & laughing on this guy's racial jokes.

Well good sense did prevail in the Uniformed Guy & he apologized to the boy whom he racially stereotyped.

Most people who practice yoga in India don't make it their whole identity (unless they teach yoga in which case I understand). Also going and announcing to the world that you are a "Yogi" or that you do yoga is antithetical to what yoga is supposed to be in the first place, which is a path to liberation. Advertising it to the world is being stuck in the cycle of status/pride which is what any yogic or similar practice in Hinduism/Buddhism seeks to eliminate.

I think TVS doesn't have much control over the existing 310 engine. I think BMW won't be updating it, would instead move to the 450 twin. That leaves TVS with the engine which was not that great to begin with.

If TVS is wise enough, this new RTX-D4 platform hopefully will spawn engines of multiple displacements and the 300 cc version of it is the first one to come.

I feel they stayed with the 300cc displacement because that space is somehow less competitive. With the 400s, they'd have to compete with a lot of popular and already well established bikes like Speed 400, Himalayan, Duke 390 etc .
