  1. What is `replicatord` and other new mysterious daemons in Sequoia?

    3 months
It's part of ReplicatorCore, and isn't an open framework, so you won't find documentation on it beyond just the few man pages. Seems to be related to multi-device syncing.

Yeah, cause we aren't. Though, we need to be. I'd say we should focus more on research after we build some LLMs that can sort of compete with the top ones. Just in case the world sticks to the LLM architecture. Regardless, I doubt this current LLM architecture will get us to singularity. That's why we should also focus heavily on research.
  5. Is it wise to onboard someone who is familiar with fundraising? If yes, how should I ideally do it? (I will not promote)

I think you will be best seeking out an unpaid mentor who has done it before, and learning to raise money yourself. This is one of the advantages of joining and incubator / accelerator, as you can have easy access to mentors and learn from people dedicated to, and invested in your business.

I will say, whenever asking someone else for advice about raising money, you should first ask them if they have successfully raised money before, if the answer is no then just walk away. There are too many posers out there who would take a company like yours and, wring it for cash, and bring absolutely no value.

The main thing about raising money, get ready for A LOT of rejection, take it constructively, learn to parse what is being said (as it will never be just straight), and just keep going until it starts to click and you get investment.

Not sure what stage you are looking angel, incubator, VC. But there are several books out there that can absolutely help you depending on what stage you are. If looking for angel investment I would absolutely recommend reading Angel: How to Invest in Technology Startups-Timeless Advice from an Angel Investor Who Turned $100,000 Into $100,000,000 by Jason Calacanis. This will give you good information on what an angel looks into before making an investment.

    3 months
dude chill kar.. a wise man once said, "People are stupid", and this line has stuck with me. Stupid people get impressed by and attracted to stupid stuff. Not targeting any couples specifically, but in general, this is the bottom line. Moreover, you said you're looking for long term commitment, which fyi, is harder to find than a hookup. Welcome to India 2025. Yes, it is counter intuitive, but it is what it is.

Congratulations on your placement btw. Good that you're focusing on real stuff, real skills, which stays. When the tide turns, you'll stand strong.

  16. When hiring SEO Freelancers, what are the best marketplaces and what things do you recommend to look for? [Not a Work Offer]

    3 months
Hi, consultant here of 11 years experience with my two cents based on experience with clients.

    1. When hiring a freelancer to build a new site for you, do NOT let them register a domain for you. Do it yourself, and then give them limited access. I had a client lose their entire domain access because the SEO guy they hired before me ghosted them and didn't provide any login or registration info.

    2. I would avoid using upwork and definitely fiverr for backlink building. You'll more than likely get nothing but low quality links en masse, and would likely do more harm to your rankings than good.

    3. For SEO Audits, have freelancers send you a sample audit or two to vet the quality. The majority of them are just running your site through Semrush, ahrefs or screaming frog and giving you an automated or reformated print out.

    4. Also, try searching locally in your area instead of going through upwork or fiverr. You can likely find someone in your area that's affordable and has great Google reviews.
