    So true, my first week in Pune I requested an Uber and unfortunately for directions i told him that we were waiting by Shivaji ka statue , upon arrival he quite respectfully asked me are you not from MH and that he didn't take offence but others will so I got to be careful - I should always say chhatrapati shivaji maharaj when addressing. I was appalled.

    These are some of the best lanes in all of Andheri (W). Quaint, green, peaceful.

    You have an added advantage that nothing will ever be built here. And since it’s a private road with hardly any passing traffic, there’s enough parking.

    I’d say go for it. The air is the same even if you’re 1 km away lol.

    Unrelated to cars- I’d advise you to check property paperwork thoroughly. Many buildings in this area don’t have the correct permits (since it’s a mangrove site), OC, CC, etc.
