Worried about my wife's conservative mindset
just go to Mumbai and especially take your wife there! it'll broaden her horizons a bit for sure. Mumbai people are quite amicable in general. your wife's habits might cause small issues here and there but she'll learn some valuable lessons. It's worth it. -
This should not go too far !!

Personally don’t like the re-release but if Padmaavat can get a re-release then I feel these 5 movies truly deserve it…
Fan was a horrible movie lol. Can't stand with this 'Audience Failed' narrative with this one. Idea was good, execution, especially in 2nd half was totally shit. -
The very mindset that offends people when someone forgets to add "chhatrapati", is one of the reasons why our country is where it is right now
Kon hai ye log, kuthun aate hai? Recently saw a video on insta that went like, you don’t respect Shivaji Maharaj by the things you say, but by the deeds you do, the ideals you follow. But chapris will never understand that. -

Prashant Kishor is the only hope right now.
The only certain thing which he said he would do once he comes to power is lift the ban on liquor. He has no true vision.
He is a stooge! -
If NEP needs to be strictly implemented, let's take Spanish, French and German as major languages for teaching.
The catch is that 2 out of the 3 languages has to be Indian. And given that English is an obvious choice, we'd have to take only Indian Languages. Tamil would be chosen by a majority of people and a few in CBSE schools might choose Hindi/Sanskrit/Telugu. So, those who choose Tamil would have to more or less stick to Hindi/Sanskrit given the limited availability of teachers for other languages. It's hard to find teachers for Telugu/Malayalam/Kannada or any other language for that matter.
In my opinion, there's no need for 3 languages at all. The level of Foreign Language learning that happens in schools hardly enables to have basic conversations IRL. I studied French for 5 years, can read and write everyday sentences decently, but can hardly hold a basic face-to-face conversation, as there was no environment provided for that. Teachers reading out from the textbook, focussing on vocabulary, grammar and sentence formation and testing the same in the exams had no meaningful purpose.
Also, when there's uncertainty of where we'd be headed for higher studies/work, choosing a language now itself would just be an additional burden. Studying Sanskrit or any other 'heritage' language also doesn't have any practical utility unless someone wants to become a scholar or linguistic expert. It has hardly spoken by anyone in the country.
Schools should be teaching practical skills rather than languages, which children would naturally pick up without formally teaching them. We learnt to speak Tamil before schools formally teaching us, we learnt more English from talking to teachers, classmates, through movies, reading newspapers and storybooks than from studying a textbook. Studies show even adults can pick up a new language when there's a conducive environment around them. -
Amit shah led committee refuses disaster relief fund for Fengal cyclone affected Tamil Nadu while allocates funds for 5 other states
It's simple. We simply stop paying the taxes to the central. Don't give us 2000 cr, we reduce the same amount to the central government. -
House hunting
I think it would be wise for you to move by yourself initially, finalize an apartment you want to buy and then move family.
It will be difficult to find a 3BHK in the 1-1.2Cr price range in the localities you mentioned (for new construction and ready to movie in). A 2BHK is a viable option.
In case you’re okay to buy an older construction, there is a possibility to find some in the localities you mentioned. -
