I hate being around my parents when I don't absolutely have to. They also constantly argue, condescend, and are otherwise extremely draining to be around.

I basically have to act like a doll in front of my parents because they freak out and nitpick at everything. It's not as bad as it used to be because they were extremely overtly abusive to me when I was little, but I still hate them anyway. I hate myself more for being too disabled to be financially independent.

I'm lucky that I have my own apartment but I'm welfare poor and can't afford a lot of what I need, so I end up going to Costco with my mom like twice a month. Thankfully my father works and lives across the continent for most of the year, so it's a lot easier to just deal with my mom alone.

You can just go out for walks around your neighborhood by yourself, or just get out of the house for a few minutes of fresh air if you want.
