I don’t really care if a person is getting wealthy off tax payer money, if they are getting the market pay for their work. Many people in the private sector are getting wealthy by being good at their job and paid what they are worth. If we refuse to pay people in the public sector competitive salaries then we shouldn’t complain when government work is not efficient. Do you want to under pay people? Or do you want to hire competent people?

In my experience most government jobs pay less than the equivalent jobs in the private sector. If salaries are higher than national averages it is only because these are mostly skilled jobs and the unskilled jobs have been contracted out.

When a person from the North comes here, we do make them feel comfortable. But the problem arises when the North Indians expect us to adapt to their language and culture. Nope. Try to adapt to South India, the place where you have settled. Learn at least 10% of our language.
