Signboards should be placed before the turns or flyovers but in Hyd they are placed after you enter the flyover or the road. Eg the Shaikpet to Tolichowki long flyover.

Your first paragraph is a bit of a red flag; if you feel you have to 'try' to be respectful and kind, you might need to ponder over why it's something you have to try to be, versus something that's inherent to you. As you get older, kindness and honesty is more valued. I felt similar at your age; I had no male friends at all and wondered what was wrong with me. But in my mid 20s I started meeting guys who became my friends without me fundamentally changing anything about myself.
