The system is rigged, Those who actually need reservation don't get it, and those who don't they misuse it. There was this guy in my 1st year class he got half of what I got in Jee Advanced, and is in a better branch than me, It wouldn't had bothered me if he was from a difficult background but dude, bro has Latest Iphone, Ipad for making notes and what not, plus bhai he had 0 tution fees and I'm paying fees like it's a private college even after being in an IIT, and for that mujhe loan nikalna pada, kitna chutiya system hai.. Why am I not to feel bad?, and on the other hand I see that people who actually need it they don't even have the resources to take coaching and because of these people who have resources they anyhow get scores and occupy the seats. Making the deprived more deprived. Tbh I feel an income criteria should be put in just like obc ncl in sc and st, because the main objective was to get these people to a stance, now once they've reached there I don't think they deserve it anymore,give chance to those who actually deserve it.
Also I've also talked with some people who are getting deprived of it, they also have mentioned me that if income criteria is put in the one's in need will actually get the reservation.
