Nah i think class is not defined by your outfit. Going through this with a company right now. There are a million ways to go about it with fragmented tools. The first thing I always do is to make sure”common sense common practice.” I start by doing an audit and find out how the system works. I map everything out and then find out what is currently being done. Then find out from everyone what is working. Your company is doing a bunch of good things of you’ve gotten that big. Work from there.

My mentors had me read a bunch of theory books. So I won’t recommend those. I did read the book “thinking in systems” but I’m not sure that’s what you need.

Like I said. Don’t worry about trying to out in a solution. Map everything out first. Get what’s working now and then get the stakeholders involved and take it piece by piece. It could start with a simple org chart. The last thing you want to do is invest in a tool that nobody uses.

That company I’m working with bids has spent 3 years trying to get Clickup embedded and it’s only been a drain as an example.
