* If you have luggage, leave it at your hotel.
* I assume your hotel is within the city limits. If it is closeby to Race Course, take an auto/taxi/bus off Ola/Uber/Rapido. Else, take a bus to either Anna Statue (Anna Salai pronounced "silai") or Lakshmi Mills bus stop and then an auto/taxi off Ola/Uber or a Rapido from there. On the app, you can give the stop as "Income Tax Office, Race Course".
* Walk a round or two around Race Course before breakfast at Annapoorna.
* You can then proceed to Valankulam Lake nearby. You can either walk the 2km or take a Rapido/Ola/Uber.
* I don't know if there is boat rides in the morning. If there is something of that nature, you can enjoy that.
* You can then either proceed to your hotel or a cafe (assuming your hotel does not give you access to a common area there) and spend the rest of your time. There is a Cafe Coffee Day on Race Course and in RS Puram.

Coimbatore is an industrial city and there isn't much to see or do activity wise. There are some temples here and there. But considering you would not have been able to refresh and take a bath, that won't be possible if you were interested.

I own RS, and I can tell RS is uncomfortable for me in longer rides because of slightly aggressive posture and feet are slightly shifter back.

I test rode Hness, it felt quite upright but retro. Maybe it's better than RS in long rides. Also RS is lighter and nimble.

Hness has charging port pre-installed but in RS it needs to be added separately for 3500/- (type-C)
