We have lost one of the great leaders today. The nation mourns his death.

His life should be celebrated. The lad was a governor of RBI, finance minister and then our Prime Minister. The 1991 reforms saved country. At a time when we only had three weeks worth of forex for trade and were on the verge of bankruptcy, he and PVN Rao got the reforms done. That too in 1991 when there government wasn't in majority.

History will be kinder to him, as it will teach people about him. Hopefully people will appreciate him for being humble and soft-spoken. We will remember him as a leader who shaped the India we see now, for the better.

2024 couldn't have ended on a more somber note. Till we meet again. Dasvidania, the great Singh.
