i am from north india and usually visit this sub because of my curiosity towards north eastern culture.
I have never been racist towards NE indians.
Infact I have encountered posts that are racist towards north indians some times in this sub.
Crux of the matter is that indians from one part of the country love to be racist towards their fellow countrymen from some other part.
It is unfortunate and very tribalistic behaviour. Instead of admiring our diversity we just bash each other. Just try to ignore such rotten apples because in a country of 1.5 billion people you are bound to encounter them often.

Some of the many reasons are that:
1. Telangana ppl have a unique history & culture different from Andhra, so is the dialect. In united AP ppl from Telangana felt their culture was being marginalized, dialect was mocked by Andhra ppl. Example: there were hardly any movies in Telangana dialect, just a comic telangana character in Tollywood movies.

2. Water resources were not shared proportionately, Regions in Andhra had abundance of water while Telangana had areas with droughts, this was due to the fact that politically powerful leaders from Andhra influenced irrigation projects.

3. Telangana leaders have always been under represented in United APs Politics, leaders obviously tend to their constituents.

4. Only Hyderabad in Telangana got developed which had large Andhra Population but other cities or towns in Telangana lacked basic development, this was not the case in Andhra. Proof, look at the number of cities with Airports in Telangana and Andhra.

Now post formation of state, There is a seperate Telangana identity! Tier 2 cities in Telangana are getting developed, Culture & Dialect isnt being mocked, ppl in Telangana dont feel marginalized anymore. Ppl From all over the country are living happily.
