Not at all a good movie. And I am not even comparing it with Hollywood or even Bahubali.

Just compare this with Bajirao Mastani.

Chhava does not have a single good battle scene if you compare it with Bajirao Mastani even.

Which sucks because Chhatrapati Sambhaji was involved in many battles and the sack of Burhanpur was in no way the climax of his military career.

The movie is way too invested in showing him as a good individual soldier. Did not show him as a master strategist AT ALL.

Yes this post is right but what they don't understand is that people adopted hindi wholeheartedly because a common language was needed during the first independence movements and now hindi serves as an intermediary language among North Indian people generally. If only we had not lost our own mother tongues in the process, this would have been a win win for all.
So let's be more vocal for our own mother tongue instead of bringing down Hindi.

Also the English which people in the south embrace, it was forced on them. They were given jobs and education only if they embraced English. Hence they had to. I laugh when I see these people now favouring English. They have clearly forgotten the hurt and humiliation their forefathers had to undergo to adopt this language. Also do they think the British administration at the time was kind towards tamil language and culture?
