Middle class is not decided on what you earn. It is about the passive incomes, that makes one truly high or middle class. Passive incomes like rents, dividends, interest, royalties,franchise fees truly makes one high/upper class. That gives you the freedom from the pressure of monthly bills and rent, let you pursue your interest and passion like arts, entrepreneurship, technology etc. if your only stream of income is just salary, no matter how much you earn, you're a middle class.
