Hangs how long? That timer is always a blatant lie, it can take an hour or more sometimes. If it hangs like this for 10 minutes and you stop it, you're just interrupting it before its done.

If it hangs for over an hour, then yeah, there could be an issue. But in Safe mode (which is slow anyway) it might actually take a couple hours.

That sounds bad. Recently while i was travelling, there was this older foreigner lady seated nearby, and another guy was blasting out reels and other stuff on his phone in full volume, which was very annoying. The lady politely asked him to reduce volume or use earphones. He complied but repeatedly started doing it again. The lady repeatedly asked him, stared at him and later gave up. I felt bad and helpless. It was almost night time and there wasn't much people around. So I silently suffered and later put on my headphones. But the lady seemed really pissed off and i kinda felt embarassed by the state of things here.

This reason will never evolve. Better leave it those who can.

Apart from McDonald's at Crystal Palm, there are similar types of eateries, such as Crazy Coffee (I tried only C-Scheme; I don't know about others) and a famous non-veg outlet near M.I Road; I forgot its name, though.
