The movie was really good. About the popularity of these movie, i think only a few from NE who really follow Mollywood movie might know. I myself start watching malayali movie after my graduation days in Trivandrum. And later, i realise this was the movie we have talk back home in Manipur about Bala Hijam being acting in INDIAN movies (as u see, it's very rare when manipuri actor cast in Hindi movies. There was even rumours that the actress was call up by militant for casting in Indian movies).

NE is very less represented in Bollywood movies. (Though the states have their own movie industries).
Some of the movies that has a small NE connections are Jagga Jassos, Anek, Penalty, Mary Kom.
