as others have said, the unit economics of hiring outside sales just doesn't add up. My other concerns:

1. artists are not called "starving artist" as a joke. I wouldn't count on them to provide a low-churn revenue base.

2. let's assume your projections ARE actually correct and the starving artist actually will pay. $5M ARR in the best case scenario is just not interesting. It's not really "investible" for VC, on top of that let's say there's a future acquisition, using a 10x multiple on ARR, the MAXIMUM potential of 50M (with perfect execution) just doesn't excite. It just has no chance to "unicorn".

I think the other posts suggesting that this could be a very nice lifestyle business, but it really doesn't excite the same way as other potential options for "in-demand" co-founders.
