If people are treated like 2nd class under brits , it was like 3rd class under nizams. These 200 years of difference of everything created massive inequality and pseudo cultural complexes, language differences in the region.


Fast forward post independence, Telangana was just liberated from nizams and Telangana ppl wanted to be ruled by themselves but they are forcibly merged with Andra who are not the same level as TG at the time. TG has many problems to solve whereas AP is kind of relatively stable for two centuries

Unnecessary competition created by huge influx of AP migrants to Hyderbad and virtual all districts of Telangana, it is more like Nizam administration is being replaced by someone else from outside.

In combined AP successive governments ignored problems of TG people, they ignored water problems which Nizam almost solved by some projects, execution of those projects also left off midway or manipulated to faveor Andhra more. So basically complete political and economic negligence , diversion of income from Hyderabad to Andra region without any local development, though people were treated badly under nizams atleast the funds were alot avilable and spent locally. This is economic standpoint.


Water resources loot and diversion happened until recently as YSR regime , Telangana never given fair share of water despite being most cachment for both godavari and krishna rover being in Telangana. Failed to fight well for irrigation projects of tunga badra river rightfully proposed by Nizam but claim given up by AP completely. Irrigation projects are completely neglected here, water of Krishna basin illly transferred to penna basin in Rayalaseema in name of Telugu Ganga project and Jala Yagnam . Pothireddy padu head regulator is daylight loot of water by starving one region , plane injustice.




Coming to immigration Disadvantage due to sudden influx of Andhra migrants and their capture of all govt posts and all, simply because they had early English education advantage cos 200-300 British rule whereas we were under nizams during this time and supression. Created inequality between both regions, here too it's more like you replaced Nizams with the Andhra region people .


Last but not the least, the othering of Telangana culture, demeaning of Telangana accent and everything. Self Delusion of Andra people their version is only Telugu especially the people in Krishna belt, i see similar demeaning and othering of srikakulam and vizag people as well without actually realising that culture and language vary every few kms. Cinema played a key role in this othering by not portraying balanced language. Pseudo language superiority gave nothing but fights, these superiority failed to see that Telangana region and Rayalaseema region has more pure grandikam accent and words than them.


Despite all these if rulers of combined AP were sensible in decision making and less greedy without any partiality it would have been never a case of separate State. Bad politicians and policy is the number one cause for separation. If they were good we would have been combinef and a strong Telugu state .
