No, it’s because of our DNA. I keep saying this - with the population we have, expecting India to be a developed nation is like expecting a 486 machine to run Crysis at 4k resolution. Whatever bells and whistles you put on that machine, it won’t even be able to run super mario, let alone a high-res graphics intensive game. We should just stick to reading emails and writing word documents instead of trying to run Crysis. If we want to be something that from a 1000 miles away, resembles some low-res outline of China, then let’s first start by learning how to build a modern road, something which all other 168 nations have learnt. It will probably take us around 200 years to learn that skill. Then, slowly, from there, we can learn how to build modern buildings, footpaths, generate electricity etc. In about 6000 years, our DNA will then slowly evolve to the point where we can then build an actual city. After that, we can think about competing with China. For now, like i said, let’s start with the very basics, the ones that other countries learnt 200 years ago.
