So it's a more widely used term although should not be used in the derogative way

I don't personally believe in it but my mom does. So my badi mummy asked me to put some kalash type of thing under the peepal tree and I did it without thinking and told my mom about it after doing it. She ran to my badi mummy's house and scolded her. My parents cut ties with my badi mummy, after that my watchmen checked what was inside it and some things like green marbles and pins I don't remember properly.
