For a while, these things were hot word drops for investors, but nowadays they just want to see if it actually adds value.

And let’s not forget storytelling. Even in the smallest games, a captivating story can draw players in. My sister is playing this cozy farming sim now, and she’s obsessed because of its story and character dynamics, not just the gameplay mechanics.

My friend found success by going to game expos and pitching in person – it's easy to ignore emails but when someone’s standing right in front of you, showing their passion, it resonates differently, you know? So...yeah, get out there, put your game in front of people, and make those IRL connections...
