It’s purely TN politics taking a stand that they won’t teach kids another language for fear of Hindi making it into TN. Dmk doesn’t want future generations to learn hindi for fear of them turning BJP friendly. That’s the real reason. If you keep politics aside, there is no rational argument of saying no when you are getting 5k crores for teaching another language to school kids. You can use the money to fund the teachers for the third language and have 1000s of crores remaining.
