zz/y/x is the format of series. zz is always constant per subject that is here 55.
y depends on region like 1 is for delhi , 2 is for rajasthan ,gujrat area (not sure ) etc and it goes upto 5 or 6 or 7.
x is the set which you receive according to the distribution pattern being followed at your centre

I had 55/1/3 , man it was one hell of a paper. Delhi region papers are always super difficult even last year.
Quick overview of the paper (surprise factors ) :
It had No Kirchhoff rule,
No series or parallel circuit solving,
No optical instrument,
No AC generator,
No Transformer,
No Galvanometer,
No mirror, lens, lens making formula,
No derivations (only one magnetic torque),
No rectifier question,
No question related to para dia ferro,

You're free to do anything unless it impacts your attendance and studies. If you get in touch with right faculty, they'll even help you.

First choice - CS, second choice - IT. Don't go for AI as it's just a subset of cs and it. You can do a diploma later. If you take AI you're just narrowing your field more.

I'd say "not much". It's totally on you. If you do more projects you'll be having more practical experience, but nothing from college side. They'll only teach you about the textbook practicals.
