I feel very bad for this city. These people are not native bangaloreans but migrated ones( migrated from all the states not just "north indians"). I remembered 10 years ago this city was so pretty, so wonderful and really sweet people. And now I see most of the greenery is gone, everyday someone is trying to scam you, even police is also involved in this. Property owners are filled with greed. So much greed for money that I have not seen this much delhi also. And please don't say it is normal. This is not normal at all. At least not for a developing nation.
Today evening only at around 7 pm, I was walking near hebbal side. A guy came to me and asked where is peenya 2nd stage. I told him its too far from here and showed him in map. It was 17kms. Then he started asking for some money to get to that place. He was just walking, saw me standing on the other side of road so came to me. Come on, if someone wants to find peenya then they won't be looking for that place from 17kms far away. I just said no and walked away. And this is my 2nd incident in last 1 month. One day one guy was asking for money at cubbon park metro station to book ticket for turupati. I feel bad because I do want to help. But these people are using that against us only. Thanks to reddit that I am aware about all these scams and not fall for them.

Each and every individual who is migrating to any city, should learn their way of living. Not to spoil that place also.

Went to the Walk (Hiranandani, Thane) on New Year’s Day. House keys were in my tote bag along with wallet and other belongings. Visited Taco Bell, Westside and walked around a bit. On some instances, my bag was open as I took my wallet out while purchasing something, or using earphones. On returning home, the keys were missing. Rest of my belongings were intact. There was no way the keys would have dropped from the bag, as it was a huge tote bag and the keys were right at the bottom, and there are no holes in the bag nor did I see the keys falling out while taking out my wallet or earphones. Chances are I probably got picked at westside (there was a huge crowd inside as there was a sale going on), while the rest of the Walk was relatively deserted. Anyway, got the locks changed at home.
