Just curious how the Sub feels about the below comments made by Periyar decades back. In a spectrum between 100% - you accept it to 0% - Absolutely not, please share your opinion. Thanks. Translation of headline in comments.
Reminds me of an incident few years back where one of Periyar's staunch criticizer and a proud Brahmin BJP's H. Raja in a meeting claimed that "Christians and Muslims are not Tamil people" And the Sanghi audience shouted back "beat them, Kill them".
Seems like these kind of statements don't create nothing in political sphere -

Culturally the city I'm from(Agra) seems closer to Haryana than Eastern or even Central Uttar Pradesh
Culturally Agra Mathura region is more similar to Rajasthan than Haryana. Meerut, Hapur region is similar to Haryana. -
Tina going to kill me after this
She is gunning for it....look at 3 question marks after What -
not from sikkim, but i want to ask - why is sikkim's fertility rate so low? is government taking measures to improve this?
I heard that they're giving out monetary grants after a third child is born. Other than that and in this economy, I don't think making children is any Sikkimese individual's priority. -
Culturally the city I'm from(Agra) seems closer to Haryana than Eastern or even Central Uttar Pradesh
I'm originally from Eastern UP and amongst all the regions of the state is is furthest from every region
Not even the central region is that close
We speak bhojpuri, have very different customs and society even the folk music is unique to us if one had to pick similarity of east up with Bengal or haryana, it will always be more closer to Eastern states
This cultural difference has always been a point for our demand for separate state which includes parts of neighbouring bihar jharkhand and chattisgarh
The same goes for west up
But the kaurvi belt is almost haryana with ha little Hindi-fied form of Haryanvi being spoken their
And braj bhasha region spans from terai to Chambal valley in madhya pradesh it may be similar to haryana largely due to both the language and cultures having common origins
Even southern up divides bundelkhand region
Another close relatives of haryana
Bundeli, kannauji and braj bhasa are very much similar and haryanvi - kaurvi group is its closest realitive and this combined group is the closest existing language to hindi or Urdu
Central up is transitional between west and east and they speak awadhi , even though it sounds similar to bhojpuri it is more closer to Chattisgarhi than bhojpuri
UP is uniting place of so many cultures but divides too many of such cultures as well -

How was your experience with Sri Chaitanya/Narayana?
**TL:DR** \- Most of the Narayana, Sri chaitanya branches are absolute dog-shit (Not sure about allen, FIITJEE). Instead of going through the hassle of finding a good branch and joining a good batch in Narayana/ Sri chaitnaya, you can choose online foundation coachings - they are pretty good. Unacademy bought almost all "top" teachers from most of the other coachings this year so I think it is pretty good but I'm not 100% sure because I haven't studied from them. Before joining anywhere(online or offline) get to know more about the faculty.
Imo you should never choose a coaching based on the coaching(Lmao) I mean what matters is who is gonna teach you. You need to know if the faculty is good - in most branches it will be a shitty set of faculty. I hate Narayana tbh(I'm currently in 12th - JEE). I'll not talk about how they don't make the student develop interest in the subject but rather just focus on methods to increase marks but instead Imma talk about how this institute actually works.
The main reason I hate Narayana is that most of the branches are like completely useless. There will be just a single branch in the entire city or sometimes even in the entire state which can be considered good. Rest of the branches are just there to direct the funds to that main branch. Usually, the top teachers will be teaching in these "Main" branches and the fees that students from other branches pay, is used to pay the salaries of the so called "top" teachers of "Main" branch. So most of these other branches will not have any good faculty. You need to make sure that the branch you are joining is the top/main branch. That was about branches....
Then there are batches (I'm speaking from 11th/12th POV) . These are not typical A1 - A10 batches - I mean they are but they are not named that way. Afaik, the top batch is called SUPER CHAINA (CHAI tanya + NA rayana). The top teachers of Naryana and sri chaitanaya are supposed to teach the students of this batch but in my case, my entire class was upgraded to super chaina from a comparatively lower batch(yes entire class of 60 students) but the teachers and the material remained the same 💀. The only thing that changed was the schedule - pehle hi ghatiya tha usko aur ghatiya bana diya bcoz most of these students in Superchaina will have already completed the syllabus in 9th-10th so the schedule is pretty good for them but not for us. In my 2 years at Narayana I got to know about this order of batches
Super Chaina(SC) - top batch - Focused on JEE Adv. In main branches, they focus on ranks and in normal branches they try to maximize the number of selections and it has more sub divisions like Star -1,2,3.... based on fees/performance in test
N-120 (C-120 in Chaitanya) - Also for JEE Adv but that's a joke. In my case, the teachers had JEE Adv level knowledge but couldn't deliver it to the students. So I would say it's good for Mains level. It is supposed to be like 120 students in same class ig but mostly there are 60 - 90 students
Spark / Co-Spark - Honestly Idk what difference "Co" makes. They added it for Super Chaina too. Also for JEE Adv but in reality they used to teach mainly for boards and sometimes for state engineering entrance exam
ZFTB/NAZ and other low batches - These are like the lowest batches. Fees will be less(not very less tho like 80k for a year). Here they teach mainly for Boards and they say that they teach Mains level but it is straight up a lie. Students in these batches struggle to even qualify boards and mainly focus on that and some of them focus on state entrance exams. Some students in this batch use it as a dummy school and prepare for JEE using online resources or other coaching. Almost all of the selections from this batch are of students who don't go to the coaching regularly because if they study from teachers here, they will lose more marks due to shitty faculty -

We're not Punjabi, we were part of Punjab for only 108 years
Yes, but also, Haryana does have a large Punjabi population who migrated in 1947 from the newly formed pakistan. They have the control over most of the shops-markets due to their business acumen. -
We're not Punjabi, we were part of Punjab for only 108 years
Punjab thinks that the 10-20 years of guru Govind Singh's resistance and 50 years of ranjeet Singh rule is basically the only history of Punjab and Pepsu-jk and because EK BAAR unka kahi kabza tha, toh sada ke liye hi Gaya and everyone should just hand it over. -
