It's less safe now. Most major choupatis have either moved or removed. No improvement in hygiene from the last 3 years. The crime rate is staggering. Minimize interaction with blue collar people.

Moral policing karne wale are increased. Infrastructure is worse than three years ago, but for a good reason(better infrastructure is coming).

I don’t know who this woman is or how she’s connected to the incident. The incident she’s referencing involves a child who committed suicide by jumping from the 26th floor of an apartment building.

The child attended GPS and was reportedly bullied by two other students from wealthy families. Allegedly, he was forced to perform degrading acts, including licking a toilet. However, this isn’t a straightforward case of random bullying. The child himself was said to have been a bully while attending GEMS, where he was expelled or suspended for his behavior. His parents then moved him to GPS, where, unfortunately, some of the kids he had previously bullied at GEMS were also studying. Those students, along with the two wealthy kids, are said to have bullied him as an act of revenge. The situation escalated, and the child was unable to cope, leading to his tragic decision.

The responsibility for this incident lies with both schools, the teachers, and the parents of the children involved.

Even a 10 lacs cover for a normal illness seems less nowadays with the way the hospitals are billing. I think there needs to be a way for the authorised to cap the bill. GIPSA was supposed to be the way forward but even that has been hijacked. I think Govt should come forward and say all insurance payments should be capped at CGHS rates, but then these profit hungry hospitals will start sucking blood from us for non payable.
