"Ignore and don't click" DMs is not a good enough policy. Disabling DMs is

I saw another post about people being targeted for scams via DMs. Some people think that the best policy is to "ignore and don't click". But they are already letting scammers and spam in their inbox. What for? People should instead **disable** their DMs. There is no need for anybody to contact you privately because they can already contact you at any moment and interact with you. No stranger is going to come with the "trade of the century" and share it with you. If anybody wants to help...

    Integer question are dumb

NTA should remove -ve marking from integer type questions when a question requires rounding off to the nearest integer long calculations can result in small errors l eading to an incorrect answer For exampl, if the result is slightly off, like a difference of 0.6 the correct ans might be 417 but rounding errors can cause it to be marked wrong. In an MCQ format the same question could be answered correctly However integertype questions, even small mistakes can cost marks. Imagine such an error occurring in the real...

Caleb Hammer promotes the Fizz Card which steals your bank info

Decided to download and sign up for the fizz card. Even though I've heard it mentioned a bunch of times by Caleb Hammer, I never knew there was a monthly charge for the fizz card. After learning this I decided not to sign up for the card, but the app makes you enter your bank info before telling you about the monthly fee. So I try to remove my bank info from the Fizz app but they won't let you remove it yourself or even change the status of...

Why the double standard , This is an old video, but why don't we see the protest for these poor souls(women ). Why only do see protests in favour of hamas/palestine. For god's sake we are almost in the year 2025.

robots.txt, home pages and canonical URLs

My CMS uses a non-standard default page filename: index.dot and I think that is why SEO checkers see this as two pages with the same content and they suggest I determine which page is the canonical URL (times hundreds of folders), but they're literally the same page: /foldername/index.dot and /foldername/ So, can/should I add something like this to my robots.txt: Disallow: /\*index.dot so the index.dot URLs are ignored but the /foldername/ urls are crawled/indexed? Is that the right syntax for robots.txt to disallow all index.dot files? Is there another...
