Today I got a street light fixed within 24 hours by BBMP

There was a street light infront of my house which was not working from 1 week. So I decided to call 1533. They asked me my name, my address and my ward number. There are only two options tho. Kannada and English. I am a kannadiga so I had no problem. Well. I thought they won't fix my problems. But within 24 hours, they came with a bolero vehicle and got it fixed. No bribes or anything like that

Would you be interested in a Cloud Time Machine product?

I love Time Machine but I don’t love external drives and my NAS setup doesn’t really work reliably when I’m traveling. So I tried to find a simple cloud service that I can connect Time Machine to and upload back ups. Since I didn’t find any, I’m thinking about making one myself. Would anyone else here be interested in using something like this?

Bought this Mahindra E2o 2016 for 2.5 L , faced a few problems 1. Final Adoption Alert: 🐕

Hi there, Based on my previous posts, the puppies are available for adoption and they are already 3 months old and we have been only able to get 2 puppies adopted. There are still 3 puppies left ie Vanilla, Coco and Toffee(which was returned by one of the adoptees). All the pups are healthy and vaccinated and weigh 9Kgs+. Please help me get them adopted and spread the word.

We refused to pay water tax or the deposit for the same because the water supply is not consistent. What will be the impact?

We have what is called a "metro water connection", but the water supply is negligible, in summer - there is no water, and when it rains sump is not usable, on other days the water force is more like drip irrigation. Our apartment is dependent on lorry water. We are continuing to pay Property tax and Under Ground Drainage tax, when a municipality employee came door to door to remind us to pay, we just said we wouldn't what repercussions can be expected? Places to visit for an urban planning geek, eat and shop.

Hi there, I am in Surat on a project to study sitilink from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. I am very interested in city **planning, urban design and building infrastructure** and also **trying local food.** I loved the BRTS you have here and I haven't seen anything like it so far in India. Does anyone have recommendations for places which are of these kind? like severage treatment plants, transit control rooms, Muncipal control centres etc?
