How can you validate an idea that does not solve any problem? I will not promote I saw something cool in Kickstart and I thought it was cool. In fact it was so cool that I wanted it. But here is the thing: It didn't fix any problem I had and I didn't need it. And yet it was just so cool that I wanted it. Does apple resisting to open up their backdoors to be penetrated by security agencies is just a fight for their public image ? Edit : what I meant is that I believe what we see is just a public front, what happens behind the closed doors and with national security letters and subpoenas that Apple can't even disclose about ...
