Somnath and Dwarka temple visit with mother

I am planning to visit both the temples next month with my mother. But saw that there are separate queues for both and mobile phones are not allowed either. As such I am not feeling comfortable since exits will be different and it might be a hassle. Is there any solution that you can suggest to this? Can I ask her to join the male line itself? or can I possibly book some special darshan in which both will be together? Also, how strict is the checking for phones?...
