Why did they replace rahi in anupama ?

I was quite interested in the show when alisha played the character of rahi but after they replaced her the new pair has lost its charm. The new rahi looks way too old for prem . How often should pooja clothes be washed?

I'm planning to get a saree to wear just for pooja. Do I need to wash it daily? I'll be wearing it for around 2 hours a day. Also, I read somewhere that stitched clothes are impure.
